Memory Management

Opened tabs or google chrome plugins do eat most of the memory. So, to know which kind of plug-ins/tabs are eating away your browser speed, just type in the below code in the address bar.
Code:      chrome://memory-redirect/
Now, a utility named "About Memory" shows up in the browser which measures memory usage in the browser with the private memory, shared memory and virtual memory data. (like figure below)

Disable Plugins And Extensions :

Usage of Memory is obviously not the only factor that is playing a role when it comes to the web browser of choice. Other factors, like theme and extensions support, the layout and design, compatibility, stability or page loading speed can also play a role in a user's decision. To disable chrome extensions go to menu –> tools –> Extensions and disable the plugin which is not needed.

and for plugins go to chrome://Plugins and disable unwanted plugins

Automatic Updates

Disabling this option will ensure privacy and speed to your browser.

Task Manager Changes

Open up your Task manager by pressing SHIFT + CTRL+ESC, and then right click the chrome process and set the tab to high priority. This will make all the other processes lesser important and boost your browser loading time and speed.

Clear Browsing Data :

As you browse the web, Chrome’s database collects URLs and cached texts for websites you have visited, cookies, your download history and other website and add-on data. While the point of the history and cache database is to speed up your computer by caching things locally instead of having to download every time, sometimes the history database can become very large and may slow down Chrome. You can do this by just pressing the below code
Code:shift+cntrl+del

chrome://flags/#max-tiles-for-interest-area
and switch the default (128MB) of RAM to either 256 or 512, depending on how much memory you have on your system.

GPU Acceleration
